eVariant Leadership
Bill Moschella and Rob Grant founded eVariant in 2008. Since then the company has expanded to four locations across the country, with a management team that offers a collective expertise in healthcare, business, data management and marketing.

William Moschella
Co-Founder, CEO
Bill is responsible for the company's corporate strategy and product vision. Prior to starting eVariant, Bill spent more than 15 years as a creative and strategic consultant to companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 50 companies. He led a 2-year global research study on health and wellness for Pepsico that shaped the company's regional and global marketing and outreach strategies.
One aspect of Bill's consulting work with healthcare organizations has been to examine patient and billing code processes and other facets of data that are unique to the industry. Working closely with his team of developers, Bill has designed proprietary software programs specifically for healthcare systems.
Bill has been a featured speaker at national conferences and is a contributing author for creative and health-related industry publications. He attended the Berklee College of Music and graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a minor in Philosophy.
Rob Grant
Co-Founder, Executive Vice President
Rob is charged with advancing the company's market strategy, developing new key business relationships and growing the customer base. He is a veteran of the technology industry, with more than 20 years of executive experience in leading innovation, business strategy, new business development, sales, finance and operations. He has led large-scale technology projects for healthcare systems, educational institutions and Fortune-100 companies. A particular emphasis has been in helping corporations and healthcare organizations transform the way they go-to-market through the utilization of new technology.
Over the course of his career, Rob has co-founded or joined five embryonic companies leading each through significant growth. Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Appalachian State University.
Fred Constantineau
Chief Operating Officer
Fred is responsible for leading all aspects of sales, operations, client engagement and services. He previously worked for CAST Software where he was VP and General Manager for North America Sales and Field Operations. At CAST he led the launch of new SaaS-based offerings and built a tiered organization, covering every aspect of field marketing, sales, delivery, customer care, and support. Prior to his 5 years at CAST, Fred led sales and sales operations teams at Autodesk and Microsoft.
He also has prior business experience across a variety of industries including aerospace and business consulting. He received a Bachelor's Degree at Concordia University and has completed graduate work in Business and Economics at Kellogg School of Business and McGill University.
James Orsillo
Chief Financial Officer
James is responsible for eVariant's financial planning, accounting, reporting, and treasury. Prior to joining the company he worked for American Tower where he was Senior Manager, Corporate FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis.)
James was an integral part of American Tower's global budgeting, strategic planning, and earnings release processes, and helped the company reorganize into a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT.) He has corporate finance experience across a variety of industries, including consumer products, healthcare research and publishing, and interactive marketing. James received his Master of Science degree in Finance from Brandeis University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College.
Nick Bequary
Professional Services
Nick leads the professional services, project management and support teams. He brings more than a decade of experience as a consultant in business system implementation, and in sales, marketing and enterprise resource management.
Nick is also the main contributor to eVariant's project delivery methodology. Prior to joining eVariant he served as Engagement Manager for Green Beacon Solutions, a business strategy, CRM and enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation consultancy. Before that, Nick spent six years at Dun & Bradstreet as a Professional Services Team Leader, with additional responsibilities in product development and management. Nick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Assumption College.
Gary Druckenmiller
Strategic Services
Gary is responsible for e-business and digital campaign strategies for our clients, and is the lead on several of eVariant's enterprise accounts. With over 15 years of experience in the digital and software realm, he has led several back-end and front-end technical projects in CRM, social marketing, campaign management, e-marketing, consumer websites, intranets, and B2B extranets.
Prior to eVariant, Gary was the Vice President of Customer Engagement at Mintz & Hoke, a full-service ad and branding agency. Other previous positions include director of e-business at Timex and web marketing manager at Swiss Army Brands. Gary is a graduate of Bentley University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
Richard Grant
Sales
Richard leads our regional and national sales teams for both products and professional services. He brings over 15 years of sales, management, and technology experience to the leadership team. Richard came to eVariant from CAE Associates, a global engineering services company, where he was responsible for bringing in new clients and developing strategic partnerships in enterprise and engineering simulation software.
Before CAE, Richard was a Territory Sales Manager for Oldcastle Foster, the largest manufacturer and distributor of building products in North America. He expanded distribution networks and developed strategic B2B partnerships on behalf of the company. He graduated with a degree from Appalachian State University and earned a Master's degree in Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Kristi Harris
Client Engagement
Kristi Harris leads the Chicago office, where she and her team manage client services. Kristi has worked in the healthcare industry for 15 years, primarily in CRM, healthcare informatics and analytics. She helps hospitals and healthcare systems leverage data and information to make actionable decisions in marketing and planning.
Prior to eVariant, Kristi worked at Abbott Laboratories, the University of Illinois and Northshore University Health System. In addition Kristi spent more than 10 years with Thomson Reuters, most recently leading the CRM team. Kristi holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois and a Master's degree in Health Systems Management from Rush University.
Jeff McDonald
Product and Platform Innovation
Jeff McDonald leads our product development team and works closely with clients to anticipate and address future needs and goals. Prior to eVariant, Jeff spent five years as the National Director of Healthcare Market Innovation for IKON/Ricoh US, where he spearheaded IKON's healthcare solutions design and delivery organization.
Jeff developed analytics and process modeling tools, and then aligned both technical and process modeling resources into an integrated team. He was also a senior managing consultant in IKON's national consulting practice. Prior to joining IKON, he was a technical designer for a large automation contractor. Jeff earned his Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in technical design and production from Ithaca College.
Kathy Mulston
Human Resources
Kathy Mulston leads all aspects of human resources and benefits. She has more than 20 years of HR experience in the healthcare environment for large and small organizations, and has served as a board member for several healthcare organizations. Prior to working at eVariant, Kathy was Vice President of Human Resources at Waterbury Hospital, where she led recruiting, education, benefits, compensation and employee relations for more than 2000 employees. She has also consulted in the healthcare industry in change management and organizational development.
Kathy has a Master's degree in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Bridgeport, where she graduated magna cum laude.
