William Moschella

Co-founder, CEO

With more than 15 years of experience in enterprise technology, Bill Moschella leads eVariant as CEO. Since its inception, Bill has shaped eVariant to be a technical solutions firm focused on delivering ROI to businesses through browser-based applications. Bill is the tireless visionary behind the business value eVariant brings to customers through its breakthrough technology solutions. Bill has also been and continues to be the driving force behind our successful partnerships with Eloqua, Google and Salesforce.com.

Prior to co-founding eVariant, Bill served as a creative and strategic consultant at PepsiCo, working with some of the world’s biggest brands on intercompany communications strategy in health and wellness awareness, as well as consulting to many of the top B2B divisions of this global organization. Bill has also worked closely with many large corporations and healthcare providers including American Express, American Ski Company, Greenville Hospital System, Halifax Health, Hartford Healthcare, Paramount Pictures, Salem Health, Sun Microsystems and United Technologies, among others.

Bill has been a contributing author for many publications, including IDG Books Worldwide and their Bible series. For two consecutive years, Bill was responsible for writing the Audio chapters in their Flash Bible.

Bill attended the Berklee College of Music and graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Arts in Music (major) and Philosophy (minor). A talented musician, Bill has performed on stage and shared the bill with members of The Allman Brothers, Jimmy Cliff, and members of Phish. His innate musicality enables him to pick up virtually any instrument and play it by ear. Music – especially Van Halen – remains among Bill’s passions: You can frequently hear him burst into song behind his not-always-closed office door.

Rob Grant

Co-Founder, Executive Vice President

Rob is responsible for the overall growth, operations, and financial aspects of eVariant. He has nearly 20 years of experience establishing, directing and managing large-scale technology projects across many diverse industries, including consumer, financial services, education, healthcare and manufacturing. Rob has served many notable clients including Amica, Bose, Catholic Health Partners, Halifax Health, Harvard Business School, Harvard Law School, ING, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, MIT, Mohegan Sun, NYU, Penn Medicine, Salem Health, Sikorsky, Swiss Army Brands, The Hartford, Thule Car Racks, Timex, United Technologies, and The University of Hartford.

Over the course of his career, Rob is credited with steering embryonic interactive agencies into industry-leading organizations. Along the way, Rob’s efforts have led to the creation of new sales, design and strategy departments, growing weekly revenue in one case by more than 12-fold over four years. Rob has also developed and managed successful partnerships with many top technology companies including Ektron, Eloqua, Microsoft, IBM, Interwoven, Red Dot and Salesforce.com.

Rob also serves as a top advisor to the Institute for Human Economics, an organization that advises C-suite executives at several of the top organizations and institutions around the world. He holds a BSBA in Marketing from Appalachian State University, where he was a U.S. Olympic Trials qualifier for the javelin. He practices the martial art of Kempo and the maritime art of boating around New England as often as possible.

Tim Pacileo

Senior Vice President, Consulting Services

Working primarily with global Fortune 500 corporations, Tim has more than 30 years of experience developing and managing an array of successful strategic business and information technology (IT) initiatives. Prior to joining eVariant, Tim was Vice President, U.S. Eastern Region, for Gartner Consulting, serving a variety of industries including IT, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing and financial services. His spectrum of responsibilities included: IT strategy; architecture design; outsourcing; network and telecommunications, including design and implementation; IT security; enterprise application selection, implementation and oversight; disaster recovery and business continuity planning; software and hardware evaluation and selection; and infrastructure design, focusing on data center and server consolidation, storage area networks (SANs) including virtualization and cloud computing.

Tim has extensive experience with data center assessments/consolidations, project and vendor management, as well as with IT strategy development and enterprise architecture planning. While at Gartner, Tim established their Global Data Center practice area.

Prior to his tenure at Gartner, Tim was Global Manager of Client Systems for AEI, a $1B global logistics company, where he had complete responsibility for all client/server applications development, PC hardware and software standards establishment, hardware and software purchase negotiations, network design and configuration, Internet application development, infrastructure design and security, and a Lotus Notes implementation supporting a global sales team of 300 people. Tim has also served as an IT consultant specializing in application selection and network design and implementation for the health care and mortgage banking industries.

Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in Education and Mathematics from Central Connecticut University, and has attended post-graduate school at Fairfield University. He has also completed extensive studies on client/servers, ITIL Process Management, Project Management and Executive Leadership.

When he’s not consulting with clients, you’ll find him consulting with travel agents: Tim has been to every major continent on the planet – with the exception of Antarctica. An avid sailor, he enjoys the relaxation of sailing his boat in the waters of New England, as well as the adrenaline of racing it. A brave DIY-er, he’s also up to Phase Three of his (potentially never-ending) renovations to his 200-year-old home. Previous phases have included the construction of five stone walls and a sunken stone patio.

Nick Bequary

Vice President, CRM & MA Consulting Services

Nick brings with him more than a decade of experience as a consultant in business system implementation, and as a strategist in sales, marketing and enterprise resource management. Nick is also the main contributor to eVariant’s project delivery methodology, which is used as the baseline for all projects.

Prior to joining eVariant®, Nick spent six years at Dun & Bradstreet as a professional services team leader, with additional responsibilities in product development and management. While there, he worked with several Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies, implementing a cutting edge SaaS (Software as a Service) solution set. Nick went on to serve as Engagement Manager for Green Beacon Solutions, a business strategy, CRM and enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation consultancy. During his three-year tenure there, he led many successful CRM, ERP and strategy engagements for variety of companies across many diverse industries.

Nick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Assumption College. When he’s not devising Software as a Service, he’s elevating Soccer as a Sport: While in college, Nick was the 4-year starter and captain on the Varsity Men’s Soccer Team, continually recognized with league honors. Upon graduation, Nick went back to his alma mater, serving as their Assistant Men’s Soccer coach. Nick continues to play high-level competitive soccer and won the Massachusetts State title in 2006.

Sean Stearley

Vice President, Operations and Project Management

Sean's career has afforded more than 15 years of experience managing Web-based and interactive projects and project teams, including online initiatives for Thule Corporation, Loctite and Harvard Business School. At eVariant, he is responsible for leading enterprise operations and eVariant’s team of highly skilled project management and front-line creative and development staff.

Formerly, Sean was an Instructional Multimedia Supervisor for Aetna Inc., where he led a multi-discipline project team in executing enterprise-wide multimedia and training initiatives. His work in generational learning theory has been published in Chief Learning Officer magazine, and he has presented at e-learning conferences across the United States.

Sean collects fountain pens and antique pocket watches and walking sticks, and every other year or so, he rebuilds his personal computer from scratch. Sean holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (English) and a Master of Science degree (Education) from Southern Connecticut State University.

Jim Kieffer

Vice President, Campaign & Program Development

Jim leads a team of strategists, designers and developers to build repeatable campaign packages and solutions for clients. He has more than 15 years of experience successfully creating and linking strategies to execution in both digital and traditional marketing, branding, mobile, social media and application development as well as new business and client management.

Over the years, Jim has worked closely with a number of prominent clients, including The Hartford, NewAlliance Bank, Diversified Investment Advisors, Travelers, SunLife Financial, The Street.com, Aetna, UMass Memorial Medical Center, Harford Hospital and University of Connecticut.

With innate entrepreneurial drive and business acumen, Jim has lead digital strategy efforts at a number of leading interactive and advertising agencies. Over the course of his career, Jim has led the development and marketing of an award winning content management system and created strategic partnerships with leading advertising and design firms to actively license new product offerings. He has led several engagements with Fortune 500 companies, where he transformed business models, re-staged brands and re-defined industry product leadership.

Jim holds a MA in Organizational Communication and spent four years in the U.S. Coast Guard as a trauma medic. He’s an avid skier, runner and lover of outdoors – but enjoys spending time with his family above all.

Gary Druckenmiller

Vice President, eBusiness

Gary is responsible for overall client digital and e-business strategy. Gary is also account management lead on several of eVariant’s largest strategic accounts. A versatile marketer with over 15 years of dedicated experience in the digital and software realm, Gary has established tenure on both the client and agency sides of the fence. Gary has held executive and international digital leadership positions with major global brands including Sylvania, Swiss Army Brands and Timex. On the agency side, he has run eBusiness strategy on super-brand accounts like Hyundai, Best Buy, Wyeth and Legrand.

Gary’s experience in the digital realm is vast, ranging from complex strategy offerings to total front- and back-end technical launches for Web sites, CRM solutions, intranets, extranets, analytic solutions and direct marketing campaign tools. He has been involved in numerous projects utilizing resources from SAP, Eloqua, Oracle, Microsoft, Siebel, Salesforce.com, Omniture, Sitecore, Interwoven, plus many others.

Gary also currently serves as President of West Hartford Little League and oversees the day-to-day management of over 2,500 league members including 900 youth players. Gary is a graduate of Bentley University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.  In his spare time, Gary coaches both his son at baseball and daughter at soccer and continues to play anything himself that includes a bat and a ball.

Beth Orszulak

Office Manager

Beth brings more than 25 years of business experience to eVariant with an extensive background in Business Management, Office Management, Accounting, Benefits Administration, CT and MA employment law and Human Resource experience. Beth began her career as a bookkeeper in healthcare, and went on to manage Human Resources and Office Management for several mid-size groups.

When Beth is not hard at work at eVariant she enjoys spending time with her children; Monica, Samantha & Walter. Beth is also an avid gardener with many perennial and annual gardens at her home. She is involved closely with the National MS Society and the Arthritis Foundation, as well as charity events for Children’s Hospital Boston and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
